Refurbishment of the former Orangerie/ Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S, Molsheim (France)

To date, Bugatti is one of the most exclusive automobile manufacturers in the world. The company was founded in 1909 by the Italian Ettore Bugatti and since 1998 is being developed under the general management of Volkswagen Plc Select Sports Cars.

Since 2005 the final assembly of the 1001HP-strong and 400km/h fast Veyron 16.4, one of the most technically refined production cars of all times, has taken place in Molsheim, Alsace.

Task

Sanitation and Heating installations The Orangerie is the last original building left intact from the time of its founding and it was elaborately refurbished in 2009 for further usage. The ceremony to hand over the 1.1 Million Euro Bugatti Veyron to its buyer will take place in the Orangerie.

The complete sanitation and heating installation for this renovation was done by Lodewick GmbH. They met the challenge of integrating modern building installations with an historical and listed building.
